John Netzel (ComMieDog)

Chief Engineer

John got his start in game development by modding the game Red Alert 2, making snipers that shot thermonuclear bullets, a very devastating and hilariously overpowered weapon. He provided most of the coding for CnC: All-Stars and C&C: The Forgotten, as well as working on Tiberium Secrets.

As the Lead Engineer at Honor Games, John aims to cast off the training wheels of modding and take the reins of video game programming. John promises to use this power for good, not evil, and create games that just work.

Review Copy & Key Distribution Policy

At Honor Games®, we’re grateful for every creator, curator, and community member who takes an interest in our work. We value thoughtful coverage and the passion people bring to sharing games with their audiences.

To keep things fair, consistent, and manageable for our small studio, we follow a clear policy for distributing review copies and keys.

Who We Provide Review Copies To

We provide review copies only to:

  • Established media outlets

  • Verified content creators with a demonstrated audience

  • Partners we have an existing working relationship with

  • Individuals who contributed to QA or development

This helps us ensure that our limited resources are used intentionally and respectfully.

Curator Requests

We appreciate curator interest, but at this time:

  • We do not provide free keys to curators we have not worked with before.

  • Curators are welcome to review our games by purchasing them directly on Steam.

We value every review, but we keep our key distribution selective to maintain quality and avoid misuse.

Giveaway Keys

To protect the integrity of our titles:

  • We do not provide giveaway keys except to trusted partners or collaborators.

  • We do not participate in unsolicited giveaway requests.

Why This Policy Exists

As a small studio, we aim to:

  • Maintain intentional, respectful partnerships

  • Avoid key farming, reselling, or template‑spam outreach

  • Ensure our work is valued appropriately

  • Keep our operations focused and sustainable

We appreciate your understanding and support.
