Prometheus Lives — The Accessibility Engine Enters Alpha
For the past year, Honor Games has been building something quietly, deliberately, and without public fanfare. Today, we are ready to reveal it.
Prometheus Lives — our universal accessibility engine — has officially entered Alpha.
We did not announce its development. We did not tease it. We did not hint at it. Some revolutions are built in silence until the moment they ignite.
Prometheus Lives is designed to unify accessibility across games, tools, and interactive systems. Not as an add‑on. Not as a compliance checkbox. But as a core layer of digital civilization — a foundation that expands human capability and dissolves barriers at scale.
This engine is the culmination of Honor Games’ long‑standing philosophy: access is power, and power belongs to everyone.
Today marks the first public step.
The Alpha cohort — our earliest testers and collaborators — will help shape the standards that studios, platforms, and institutions will follow in the years ahead. They are the first to wield the fire we’ve been forging.
Prometheus Lives. The accessibility engine awakens. The conflagration will sweep the world, and when the smoke clears, only the Pioneers of Progress will remain.
This is more than a tool. It is the beginning of a new era for Honor Games — and for everyone who believes in a world where capability is universal.
Alpha invitations are being prepared. More details will follow.
For now, the fire has been lit.
Founder’s Message — Why Prometheus Lives Exists
I’ve never told this story publicly. But if we’re going to talk about Prometheus Lives, then we need to talk about where it truly began.
A few years ago, my best friend asked me to play his favorite game with him — Civilization. He loved it. He wanted to share that love with me. So I bought it, installed it, launched it… and within minutes, I broke down.
I cried for an hour.
Not because the game was bad. Not because I didn’t want to play. But because I couldn’t.
It wasn’t accessible to me. Not even close.
And in that moment, I felt something I don’t think anyone should ever feel when trying to participate in the world: the door closing. Not because of skill. Not because of effort. But because the system wasn’t built for me.
That moment stayed with me. It burned.
Honor Games was founded on the belief that games are a civic art form — a place where people build, imagine, and belong. But how can anyone belong if the door is locked by default?
Prometheus Lives is my answer to that question.
It is the engine I wish had existed the day I tried to play Civilization. It is the tool I needed — and the tool millions of others need. It is the fire that burns down the barriers that should never have been there in the first place.
We built it quietly. We built it deliberately. We built it because accessibility is not a feature. It is a right.
Prometheus Lives is now entering Alpha. And with it, we begin a new chapter — not just for Honor Games, but for everyone who has ever been told, implicitly or explicitly, “This isn’t for you.”
Prometheus Lives. The accessibility engine awakens. The conflagration will sweep the world, and when the smoke clears, only the Pioneers of Progress will remain.
To everyone who has ever felt locked out: This fire is for you.
